Maimonides Children’s Hospital is proud to present our 1st Annual Neonatal Nursing Symposium. This is a full-day, in-person symposium designed to broaden nursing knowledge on various aspects of neonatal nursing. This year’s theme is Elevating Neonatal Nursing: A Multidisciplinary Learning Symposium.
Our event coincides with Prematurity Awareness Month and world Prematurity Day, a time for our field to come together and address the challenges and burdens of preterm birth.
We invite you to join us in our in-depth sessions. Together we are dedicated to improving outcomes for babies born preterm and working to end preventable preterm births.

Symposium objectives
The goals of this symposium are to introduce Maimonides Medical Center to neonatal nurses across Brooklyn and neighboring communities, and to advance the clinical practice of the neonatal nurses who attend.
Who should attend
The symposium is targeted towards nurses that are working in the specialty of neonatal intensive care but would also be a good learning opportunity for nurses that are interested in working in the specialty.
