Maimonides Children’s Hospital is the only dedicated children’s hospital in Brooklyn, caring for children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our Child Life specialists offer children, adolescents, and their families developmentally appropriate activities while in the hospital, education, and preparation for medical procedures, as well as emotional support while at Maimonides.
