Fraud, Waste & Abuse – It is our policy to provide healthcare in a manner that complies with all applicable federal and state laws. To further this policy, and in compliance with Section 6032 of the Federal Deficit Reduction Act, Maimonides maintains a vigorous Compliance Program and has implemented a system-wide policy regarding the detection and prevention of fraud, waste, abuse, and misconduct. Protection Against Retaliation & Intimidation – A key element of our Corporate Compliance Program is the ability of employees to express problems, concerns, or opinions without fear of intimidation, retaliation, or reprisal. Employees are protected from intimidation or retaliation in any form and by anyone connected with Maimonides for reporting issues and concerns in good faith and on a timely basis. Learn More

Gifts – Maimonides prohibits the receipt of gifts, regardless of size or value, from healthcare industry vendors to employees and other individuals associated with Maimonides. We also have a rigorous conflicts of interest disclosure and review process to mitigate any potential conflict of interest that may impact patient care. Learn More

You can make a report either anonymously or by using your name. All reports received by the Office of Corporate Compliance or the Hotline are appropriately investigated.
