Christiana Makinde, DNP, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Nursing, and clinician with more than 20 years of experience in pediatric and neonatal healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from New York University and has dedicated her career to advancing the health and well-being of children and families through clinical excellence, education, and mentorship.

Dr. Makinde practices in neonatology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, providing specialized care to critically ill and premature infants in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Her clinical expertise includes primary care pediatrics, neonatology, child health promotion, and family-centered care.

In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Makinde serves as a mentor and life coach, supporting individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals.
