Academic Affairs Support Services: Free & Confidential Individual Counseling
Our full-time clinical psychologist offers individual support and resources related to general wellbeing and mental health, communication challenges or relational conflicts, exam difficulties or organizational skills, and any other stressors related to training.
Individual counseling sessions are flexible and our psychologist works to meet the specific needs of our trainees. Counseling can take the form of a single check-in or occur more frequently; there are no requirements or limits and the frequency depends on the resident or fellow’s specific needs. We can also help by providing referrals to outside therapists or psychiatrists. Counseling is always 100% confidential and is never documented in a Maimonides electronic medical record. Reach out directly to our psychologist to make an appointment.
