Maimonides is home to Brooklyn’s largest center for robotic surgery, with more than 25 surgeons performing almost 1,000 minimally invasive procedures with robotic technology each year in a variety of specialties.

Precision robotic technology allows surgeons to perform complex procedures with tiny incisions and pinpoint accuracy, even in difficult-to-reach areas. Many patients may be candidates for this less invasive approach. Minimally invasive surgery includes laparoscopic surgery and robotic-assisted surgery.
