Dr. Kyle Glithero is an Attending Physician in Pediatric Surgery at Maimonides Children's Hospital. He also is the Maimonides Medical Center's representative for the Children's Oncology Group, the world's largest organization for childhood cancer research. After finishing his premedical studies at Columbia University, Dr. Glithero received his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine. Dr. Glithero went on to finish his General Surgery internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center and completed fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Glithero provides care for families throughout all stages of a child's development, from prenatal consults, surgery for newborns with congenital anomalies as well as complex robot-assisted and traditional endoscopic operations in children and teens. As a Responsible Investigator of the Children's Oncology Group, Dr. Glithero is part of a multidisciplinary team providing compassionate, comprehensive care for children with cancer.
