Our physicians are experts in minimally invasive surgeries that utilize robotic assistance to provide minimal scarring, reduced pain, less blood loss, and a shorter recovery time to get you back to the life you love.

Conditions we treat

We have expertise in sexual medicine, male and female urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, urethral strictures, and genital abnormalities. We also treat prostate, bladder, kidney, adrenal, and testicular cancer. Our physicians are specialists in female urology and incontinence, as well as urinary stone disease.

Our Prostate Center is the only full-service prostate center in Brooklyn. We have the latest diagnostic technologies, breakthrough therapies, and a team of experts known for achieving the best results and preserving the quality of life for our patients.

Our Pelvic Floor Center treats a wide variety of conditions, including urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse.

Our Pediatric Urology department treats children with congenital abnormalities and acquired illnesses in newborns, infants, and children. We have experience caring for complex urological problems in children, such as bladder exstrophy, hypospadias, hernias, vesicoureteral reflux, and ureteropelvic junction obstructions.

Coordinated care for your specific needs

Your primary care physician will most likely be the 1st to detect urological symptoms. At Maimonides, we believe it is essential to collaborate with your referring physician to help understand your medical background so we can provide the best treatment options. Every year, we hold a conference for primary care practitioners to help them understand urological conditions and illnesses, such as Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, overactive bladder, erectile dysfunction, testosterone deficiency, and hematuria.

We know urinary problems can be difficult to discuss, diagnose, and treat, that’s why our dedicated team is here to answer any questions you may have and provide you with the best, most compassionate care.
