Learn about the Child Life, Creative Arts, and Education Program
Being in a hospital can be frightening for children, adolescents, and their family members. That’s why we created the Child Life, Creative Arts, and Education Program. Run by expert child life specialists, the program promotes positive coping strategies for children and their families through education, preparation for medical procedures, and emotional support. It also provides creative art therapies, therapeutic play, and developmentally appropriate activities to help with adjustments to hospitalization.
