Shari Feinberg, RN, MSN, Nurse Practitioner Team Leader, Department of Hematology/Oncology Pediatrics at Maimonides Cancer Center, was recognized as one of City & State New York‘s Unsung Heroes of 2025.

This is the publication’s inaugural list, launched to “[recognize] New Yorkers who are highly effective but operate largely under the radar.” According to City & State New York, “What unifies everyone on the Unsung Heroes list is that they are movers and shakers who get things done—behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.”

Feinberg was honored for her dedication to helping Brooklyn children and their families coping with pediatric cancer and her commitment to leadership and continuous improvement in hematology and oncology care.
