Becker’s Hospital Review has included Maimonides Health in its 2026 list of 93 hospitals and health systems with exceptional simulation and education programs. This list recognizes programs for their “innovative initiatives giv[ing] students and healthcare professionals the opportunity to sharpen their skills in realistic, controlled environments that closely replicate real-world clinical scenarios.”
The Clinical Simulation Center at Maimonides uses high-fidelity robotic mannequins, virtual reality simulators, and standardized patients to foster prompt identification of serious illness, sound clinical reasoning and action, compassionate patient communication, and certain procedural skills in a zero-fault environment. The interdisciplinary center offers training programs for providers and staff across the institution, including to our more than 500 residents and fellows.
