Campaign supports Maimonides’ critical mission of serving Brooklyn health care needs
Brooklyn, NY, January 9, 2025 — Bay Ridge Subaru and Maimonides Health partnered for the second year, as part of Subaru of America, Inc.’s 2024 Subaru Share the Love Event. The program was designed to benefit national and hometown charities.
From November 21, 2024, to January 2, 2025, Bay Ridge Subaru donated a minimum of $300 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to Maimonides Health. Last year’s event resulted in a donation of $25,000.
By giving back, Subaru and its retailers strengthen local communities. As a result of their efforts, Forbes has named Subaru as the #1 automotive brand for social impact for the second year in a row. By the end of this year’s event, Subaru and its retailers are aiming to reach nearly $320 million in overall donations to national and hometown charities over the past 17 consecutive years as part of the automaker’s largest annual charitable initiative.
“Maimonides Health is grateful to the Subaru Share the Love campaign and their support of our mission of delivering world-class care to Brooklyn,” says Bettina Alonso, Chief Development Officer, Maimonides Health. “Support from our community partners means we can continue offering innovative health care services that has ranked Maimonides among the top ten health systems in the country, right in our community.”
“It is our honor to support causes and organizations that strive to make a difference through the annual Subaru Share the Love Event,” says Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Subaru of America, Inc. “A dedication to giving back is core to what makes Subaru More Than a Car Company® and our retailers More Than a Car Dealer. Giving back to a charity they believe in is one of the greatest gifts we can give this season, and we hope that it forges a connection that lasts for years to come.”
