Brooklyn, NY – (July 12, 2024) – Maimonides Health hosted the 2024 Maimonides Golf Classic Tournament took place on June 24th, 2024, at the prestigious North Hempstead Country Club. With foursome participation fully subscribed and 100% of fundraising goals already met, this year’s tournament was a remarkable success. The event raised $355,000, supporting the Maimonides Heart and Vascular Institute, a national leader in heart and vascular excellence, innovation, and outstanding patient outcomes. The Institute is recognized in the top 1% in the United States for heart attack survival rates and ranks in the top 1% in New York for coronary intervention outcomes. It has also received perfect scores from U.S. News & World Report for heart attack and heart failure care.
This year’s tournament marks a significant milestone with Compass One Healthcare becoming the first Title Sponsor in the event’s 20-year history. Their support, alongside contributions from approximately 44 other businesses, highlights the strong community backing Maimonides Health.

The 2024 Golf Classic Tournament featured an array of engaging activities. Barr & Barr and Pure Management sponsored the Cocktail Hour, adding excitement with various games and unique prizes. Additionally, Subaru/Bay Ridge Auto hosted an exhilarating Hole-in-One challenge, where participants have the chance to win a car.
