Brooklyn, NY (October 1, 2021) – This week, Maimonides Medical Center celebrated the grand opening of the new Maimonides Doctors Multispecialty Pavilion, Brooklyn’s newest destination for outstanding healthcare.

The state-of-the-art facility located on Ninth Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets, is home to more than 130 of our world-class physicians and 35 specialty and primary care practices, including: adult medicine specialties; pediatrics specialties; surgical specialties; women’s health and OB/GYN services; primary care; Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) services; and the Maimonides Neurosciences and Heart & Vascular Institutes.

“This new addition to our campus is a significant milestone in our ongoing transformation to better meet the needs of our community,” noted Kenneth D. Gibbs, Maimonides President and CEO. “Maimonides Doctors Pavilion reflects Maimonides’ commitment to making patients’ experience exceptional – delivering the world-class care Maimonides is renowned for and providing easy access in a single location with modern spaces, parking, and the ability to get the ancillary services they need without leaving the building.”

With a singular focus on the patient experience, Maimonides Doctors Pavilion was designed from the ground up, engaging Maimonides’ clinical teams in the planning of each floor. Patients can see their doctors in private, spacious exam rooms bathed in natural light, and access ancillary services like diagnostic testing and blood work in one convenient location.

And with two underground levels of dedicated patient parking and easy wayfinding, Maimonides Doctors Pavilion offers the highest standards of accessibility and convenience.

The Doctors Pavilion has seven floors, 145,000 square feet of space above-ground and houses more than 163 examination and consultation rooms. As a flagship for Maimonides’ system of care, patients can make appointments with multiple doctors on the same day, for themselves or other family members. Same day and after-hours appointments are also often available. A new physician concierge service has been put in place for referring physicians to facilitate referrals and ensure they are kept informed as their patients receive care.

To make an appointment at Maimonides Doctors Multispecialty Pavilion, please call (718) 283-9000, Monday through Friday, between 9AM – 5PM.

Maimonides partnered with MedCraft Healthcare Real Estate and engaged Gensler and Americon Construction for design and construction of the building.
