Brooklyn, NY, Feb. 26, 2026 – The American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) named Cody Legler, DNP, APRN, NP-BC, NEA-BC, Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Maimonides Health, one of 19 AONL Fellows.
The 2026 AONL Class of Fellows comprises 19 nursing leaders from health care institutions across the country, recognized for their sustained contributions to the specialty of nursing leadership, commitment to service and influence in shaping health care.
“I’m humbled to be designated as a 2026 AONL Fellow Inductee, joining an esteemed group of Nurse Leaders and colleagues that are shaping the future of nursing leadership and health care,” said Dr. Legler.
Board-certified in multiple specialties, Dr. Legler oversees nursing operations and strategy across the Maimonides Health system. He has served as CNO at Maimonides since 2024. In 2025, he was named among Becker’s Hospital Review’s “hospital and health system CNOs to know.”
