Brooklyn, NY, Jan. 21, 2026 – Maimonides Health announced today that 100 Maimonides doctors were recognized as Top Doctors by Castle Connolly, up from the 97 physicians recognized from the health system in last year’s iteration of the list.
The Top Doctors list represents the top 7% of practicing physicians in the U.S., with more than 70,000 doctors across the United States chosen through a rigorous peer nomination process for their exceptional clinical expertise and other factors including interpersonal proficiency, professional achievements, certifications, clinical outcomes, and more. Among the 100 physicians recognized this year, representing more than 30 specialty areas, 83 full-time faculty were included from Maimonides Medical Center (MMC), 16 from Maimonides Children’s Hospital, and one from Maimonides Midwood Community Hospital (MMCH).
