WHAT: Maimonides Health will be the recipient of a donation of 1,000 sensory-friendly onesies and swaddles for families with newborns born at Maimonides Medical Center. Valerie Bernal, CEO and founder of children’s clothing company Parker & Talia will visit Maimonides’ Labor & Delivery Unit to distribute the first round of donations directly to families. Parker & Talia creates clothing with an emphasis on comfort and suitability for children with sensory processing disorders, with seamless, hypoallergenic, eco-friendly materials.
