Survivorship has earned its own space

The Maimonides Breast Cancer Survivorship Program is a place for post-treatment wellness and care for women who have had breast cancer, because your care should look different, and so should where you receive it. In our program, your visits take place in a quiet space designed for survivors. Your team knows your history and your story, so you never have to start over and can focus on the years ahead.

Every survivor’s path is different. Your visit may include follow-up imaging, a clinical review with a breast care specialist, or a conversation about what your long-term care should look like. And if you ever need more, the breast cancer team at Maimonides Cancer Center is right here.

What you’ll find at our program

We’re set within the Erminia Rivera Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, an accredited breast imaging program Brooklyn has trusted for decades. We offer:

  • 3D mammography and breast ultrasound when you need them, with new equipment
  • A dedicated breast radiologist reviewing every image, assisted by advanced AI tools at no extra charge
  • Results in your MaimoCare app within 10 days
  • Increased availability and easy self-scheduling, right from your phone
  • Evening and weekend hours to fit your schedule

How to join our program

When your breast surgeon feels it is appropriate to do so, they will transition your care to our team for all your follow-up and survivorship needs.

If you are new to the area or Maimonides and want to join the program, you can set up care with a local physician for a referral, or you can call us directly to inquire about our care and services.
