A hybrid, virtual/in-person, symposium featuring exciting topics on new research and clinical paradigms of the diagnosis and management of acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, including Maimonides’ research on IV thrombolytics and neuroprotection, updates from ISC 2023, precision-medicine in stroke biomarker discovery, carotid web management, contemporary approach to cerebral aneurysms, surgical management of Afib-related stroke risks, in addition to state-of-the-art stroke neurocritical care and stroke rehabilitation.

Over 500 people attended the 2022 conference, which was jointly presented by the Jaffe Comprehensive Stroke Center at Maimonides, Maimonides Neurosciences Institute, and SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University Department of Neurology
