Maimonides recently opened a brand new Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) to provide postoperative cardiac surgery patients with multidisciplinary critical care and monitoring in a patient-friendly, comfortable environment.
The new CTICU features 14 private beds with state-of-the-art equipment, monitors and therapies. Significant patient experience upgrades include the installation of in-room bathrooms, enhanced lighting, an attractive family and visitors lounge with comfortable seating and amenities, and an overall increase in square footage.
