The Maimonides Trauma team recently hosted a Safe Sitter Course, designed to teach junior high students basic safety techniques for when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. Our certified Injury Prevention Specialists led the course, and taught participants life-saving skills including choking rescue and CPR through role-playing exercises and other activities.
