Dr. William Scott Ogan obtained his Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology at the University of Kansas and subsequently obtained his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine as well. He completed residency at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Arkansas. During this time he became interested in optimizing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to improve patient experience, patient safety, and decrease physician burnout. He pursued these interests by completing a fellowship in Clinical Informatics at the University of California San Diego. He is passionate about preventive medicine and providing high quality primary care, as well as improving the EHR for patient and health care worker experience in all aspects. He enjoys trying new restaurants (not cooking), traveling, exercising, and spending time with friends/family.
