Sharon Albers Glick, MD, MS is a Professor of Clinical Dermatology and Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is Director of Pediatric Dermatology at Maimonides Medical Center. She is a board-certified dermatologist and pediatric dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Glick received her MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduated Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and completed residencies in dermatology and pediatrics at Yale New Haven Hospital. Prior to medical school she earned an MS in human genetics from Sarah Lawrence College. Her clinical and research interests include infantile hemangiomas, acne, atopic dermatitis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and the genodermatoses. She was a principal investigator for a prospective international trial for the treatment of infantile hemangiomas with propranolol, now the standard of care. She is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Glick is a recipient of the SUNY Chancellors award for Excellence in Teaching and was the first Department of Dermatology recipient of the Resident's Alumni Society Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education.
