Dr. Sahaj Patel attended UCLA as an undergraduate and then moved to Washington, DC to attend medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Boston University Medical Center. Following residency, he moved to New York for his fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Columbia University and Weill Cornell. In addition to pain and palliative care, his interests include medical education, health equity, and health policy.
