Dr. Michael Weiss is the Director of the Division of Otolaryngology in the Department of Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Weiss completed his residency at New York University Medical Center. Prior to joining the Maimonides team, Dr. Weiss was the Residency Coordinator and Co-Chief, Head and Neck Service, at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He was an Attending Physician at Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn V.A., Long Island College Hospital, New York Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, Jamaica Hospital, and Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Presently, he is Attending Physician at Kings County Hospital Center and Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Michael Weiss has authored numerous publications, given a variety of presentations, and was the Principal Investigator in a research grant awarded by the American Cancer Society. He was a faculty member of the State University of New York, the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, and the Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Weiss has served on several committees, and currently is on the Surgical Advisory Committee at Maimonides. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Medical Association, New York State Medical Society, Kings County Medical Society, the American Laryngological, the Rhinological and Otological Society, the American College of Surgeons, the Society of University Otolaryngologists, New York State Society of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, the American Society for Head and Neck Surgery, and the New York Head and Neck Society.
