Dr. Lan Mo is an attending physician at Maimonides Cancer Center. She received her medical degree from Luzhou Medical College and Ph.D. from Chongqing Medical University in China. After completion of her residency at Richmond University Medical Center, she was accepted into a three-year fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at NYU Medical Center. After completing her fellowship, she was recruited for a faculty position at Cornell University/Weill Cornell Medicine/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Mo joined Maimonides Cancer Center in 2016. She is board-certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. She treats all types of cancers with an expertise in genitourinary (prostate, bladder and kidney cancers), lung cancer, and head and neck cancers using a multidisciplinary approach, precision and personalized medicine. Dr. Mo's research focuses on bladder cancer and clinical trials; she has many publications in peer-reviewed Journals including Journal of Clinical Investigation, Cancer Research, Targeted Therapy and Oncogene. She wrote a book on gastric cancer in 2014. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
