Dr. Isaac Gammal completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Northwell Health, and his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital. He also obtained his MBA at New York University Stern School of Business, New York, NY. He has published numerous articles on a variety of topics, including distal radius (wrist) fractures and total shoulder replacements. His philosophy is to first start with nonoperative treatments for his patients. If surgery is necessary, Dr. Gammal is proficient in minimally-invasive procedures which allow patients to get their function back sooner. Dr. Gammal has received many honors throughout his medical career, most recently the Stanley E. Asnis, MD Clinical Excellence Award and best original scientific paper award.
