Dr. Gelfand is the Director of Surgical Co-management Hospitalist team . The team’s faculty Hospitalists conduct pre-operative evaluation and screening of surgical patients to optimize their medical conditions prior to procedures ,which minimize post operative complications and provides comprehensive perioperative medical management .
