Dr. Habib Hymie Chera is a highly skilled interventional cardiologist dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients. He completed his medical education at Technion American Medical School, followed by residency training at SUNY Downstate/Kings County. Dr. Chera pursued further specialization in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, including structural heart interventions at NYU Langone – Long Island. Currently, Dr. Chera is an attending physician at Maimonides Medical Center & Maimonides Midwood Community Hospital, where he utilizes his expertise to offer state-of-the-art cardiac care. Dr. Chera is board certified/board eligible in multiple disciplines including internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, vascular ultrasound, cardiology, and interventional cardiology.
