Dr. Gerald Hollander is the Vice Chairman of Department of Cardiology and Director of Clinical Cardiology Division in at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Hollander completed his residency and fellowship at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center after which he joined Maimonides Medical Center as Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Dr Hollander is Associate Program Director of the Adult Cardiovascular training program and has published numerous articles in leading journals on such topics as “The Potential impact of a fully automated external cardioverter defibrillator in centrally monitored hospital units” and “Does the absence of septal Q waves predict proximal LAD disease.” He currently holds the academic title of Clinical Professor of Medicine, SUNY Health Science Center Brooklyn. Dr. Hollander is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Chest Physicians and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease.
