Dr. Frank Nguyen, DO, CAQSM is dual board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as Sports Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders utilizing non-surgical techniques including diagnostic and interventional ultrasound. Dr. Nguyen completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at SUNY Downstate School of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stanford University and completed his preliminary internship in General Surgery at UCSF East Bay. Dr. Nguyen earned his DO. degree from Touro University California and B.S. degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry from UCSD. He is trilingual and fluent in Spanish, Vietnamese, and English. He specializes in non-operative management of musculoskeletal injuries and his passion is keeping patients and athletes as functional and active as possible.
