Dr. Nunez Garcia received his Doctor of Medicine degree cum laude at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He then continued his postgraduate training with a Categorical Residency in Internal Medicine at the NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Nunez underwent further rigorous training as an Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program Fellow at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, also in Brooklyn. After completing a prestigious Cardiology Fellowship at SUNY, Dr. Nunez went on to pursue a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine/Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and was named Chief Fellow from 2020-2021. Dr. Nunez Garcia has been published in nearly a dozen peer-review publications and has presented his research at over 20 conferences, seminars, and networking events in his field. He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology.
