Dr. Alexander Shiferson is a surgeon in the Vascular Surgery Division at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Shiferson attended medical school at Midwestern University, followed by a residency at Wyckoff Hospital Medical Center. He completed his fellowship at Maimonides, where he is currently is the only Russian speaking, board-certified vascular surgeon. He is a Director of Vein Center and the Associate Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory certified by IACVL (RPVI). He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical School. Dr. Alexander Shiferson has published extensively in the field of Vascular Surgery. He is a dedicated part of the outstanding Maimonides Vascular Surgery team.
