About Me

Dr. Elizabeth Monohan is a physician in the Department of Neurology at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Monohan completed her residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University where she was nominated for the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and in her final year served as Chief Resident. She then completed her Neurophysiology-EMG fellowship at The Neurological Institute of New York, New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. She specializes in Electromyography (EMG), Neuromuscular Diseases as well as General Neurology.
