Our very own Dr. Patrick Borgen, Chair of Surgery and Director of the Maimonides Breast Cancer Program, was honored by the Brooklyn Cyclones baseball team at a recent home-game. Dr. Borgen was recognized for his leadership, professional accomplishments, and tremendous contributions to the Brooklyn community and beyond.

He was honored at a pre-game ceremony, and then threw the ceremonial first-pitch. On the field, Dr. Borgen was joined by Maimonides leadership and Cancer Center staffers.

The evening focused on breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection. Fans in attendance received pink caps to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Night at MCU Park. Thanks to all who came out!
