About Me

Dr. Rohit Iyer is a generalist in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular & Cellular Biology and earned his MD at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine with a specialization in Health Disparities. He then completed his OB/GYN residency here at Maimonides Medical Center, where he served as the Education Chief Resident and was awarded for Excellence in Obstetrics by the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine. When not providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in Brooklyn, Dr. Iyer is also focused on education, community outreach, and patient advocacy.
