Dr. Regina Tarkovsky currently serves as an Associate Director of the Division of Inpatient Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center. In addition, her responsibilities include overseeing the Behavioral Medicine Unit as well as serving as Chair for Continuing Medical Education at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Regna Tarkovsky received her medical degree from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn (currently SUNY Downstate Health Science University). She completed her residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. In 2004, Dr. Tarkovsky joined Maimonides Medical Center as a Firm Director and a Teaching Attending. Dr. Tarkovsky is an Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate Health Science University. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and has co-authored a number of clinical publications.
