Dr. Prema Ramaswamy is the Director of the Pediatric Cardiology Division, Department of Pediatrics, at Maimonides Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Ramaswamy completed her residency in Pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Ramaswamy is a Fellow of both, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Prema Ramaswamy is active in research and has published in several peer- reviewed journals. She is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at New York University. Since 2001, she has been named yearly to the Top Doctors and the Best Doctors of New York. She is part of a dedicated team of highly trained pediatric cardiologists at Maimonides, providing comprehensive evaluation and management of children, from fetus to adolescent, with any heart related problems. She provides both in-hospital and outpatient consultations.
