I was born in Iran and moved to New York City with my family in my youth. I attended New York City public schools and received my undergraduate education at New York University. I went to Tufts University in Boston for medical education and returned to New York City for my internship and residency. In 2012 I finished my urology residency at Maimonides Medical Center where I have stayed as a urology attending. I am a general urologist and have special interest in endourology in particular surgical treatments for kidney stones and enlarged prostate. My approach as a physician is to care for each patient as if they are my own family.
