About Me

Dr. Orel Shuker is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in primary care at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she also completed her residency training. She obtained a fellowship in Hospice & Palliative Medicine at New York-Presbyterian and is currently pending board certification in Obesity Medicine.
Born in Israel and raised in Montreal, Canada, Dr. Shuker earned a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from McGill University before completing her medical degree at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. She is passionate about preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and the education of residents and medical students.
Outside of work, Dr. Shuker enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and exploring new restaurants.
