Dr. Murray Choueka is an attending physician in the Department of Neurology and the Director of Headache Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Choueka completed medical school at The Pennsylvania State University. He completed his residency in neurology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He then completed a fellowship in Headache Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Choueka is board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. Dr. Choueka specializes in the evaluation and treatment of headache and facial pain disorders, including: migraine, tension headache, cluster headache, trigeminal neuralgia and more. Procedural services include Botox for chronic migraine, nerve blocks and trigger point injections.
