Dr. Jay Lipshitz is Hematology Program Director and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship, Associate Program Director at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to maintaining an active clinical hematology practice, Dr. Lipshitz teaches fellows and residents at Maimonides and teaches hematology to medical students at SUNY Downstate Medical School. He has performed research in the areas of anemia, coagulation disorders, and myelodysplastic syndrome.
