About Me

Dr. Isuree Katugampala is an attending physician in the division of General Pediatrics at Maimonides Children's Hospital. She is a lifelong New Yorker and is committed to a holistic, thorough, and family-centered approach to medical care. She enjoys working together with families to build strong and loving relationships, from birth to early adulthood. Dr. Isuree Katugampala graduated summa cum laude from CUNY Brooklyn College/BA-MD, went to medical school at SUNY Downstate, completed her Masters of Public Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in their Social and Behavioral Sciences program, and graduated from pediatric residency from the Social Pediatrics program at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. Dr. Katugampala's interests lie in strengthening community partnerships, medical education, and advocacy for patients and their families in the New York City area and beyond.
