About Me

Dr. Hsieh is a pelvic floor physical therapist in the OB/GYN department at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Hsieh lead the pelvic floor program at Women's Health Institiute. She completed her residency at Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital in Taiwan and started to practice as a physical therapist in 2009. She then decided to move to New York to further pursue her passion in physical therapy. Dr. Hsieh earned both a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Master of Arts in Patho-kinesiology from New York University with honors. With years of practice and various advanced training and certifications in pelvic floor and orthopedic/sports treatments, her specialties include women's health, prenatal/postpartum care, and pelvic pain. She also has a strong professional interest in treating female athletes, artists and runners. Dr. Hsieh is board certified by America Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She has always been an enthusiastic advocate for her patients' well-being in every phase of life. And she aimed to blend solid clinical skills with up-to-date research perspectives to provide high quality, individualized physical therapy to help her patients.n
