Dr. Elie Sutton is a Brooklyn native surgeon who has been treating patients at Maimonides Medical Center since 2013. After completing his residency training in General Surgery at Maimonides, he sought out specialty training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Mount Sinai West Hospital, then returned to Maimonides in 2020 as faculty to join the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He grew up 10 minutes away from Maimonides Medical Center and has always valued the tremendous care it has provided for his community and is proud to now be a part of this care. As a doctor who embraces the cultural and ethnic diversity in his home borough of Brooklyn, he graciously accepted the offer to join the team at Maimonides.
