Dr. Deepak Thekkoott, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a very experienced and accomplished Interventional and General cardiologist at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. It was here that Dr. Thekkoot completed is residency in Internal Medicine as well as
his fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. Prior to this, he worked as a staff cardiologist in the United Kingdom

Dr. Thekkoot holds seven board certifications which include Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular CT and Vascular Medicine. He was awarded with a fellowship from The Royal College of Physicians, UK (FRCP) and he is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) where he is also a member of the ethics and compliance committee. In addition, he is also a fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).

Prior to joining Maimonides as a general and consultative cardiologist in 2024, Dr. Thekkoot served as a Medical Director and Director of Interventional Cardiology in Louisiana.
