Dr. Christina Hwang is an attending physician in the Division of General Pediatrics at Maimonides Children's Hospital. She loves working with children of all ages and their families, and takes a collaborative, family-centered approach to medical care. Dr. Hwang earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, with a minor in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating summa cum laude. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency in the Social Pediatrics program at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, where she also served as chief resident. Her interests include behavioral health integration in primary care, community health, and advocacy on a wide range of issues related to child and family well-being.
