He is a former Chief of Interventional Cardiology at the New York Hospital. Dr. Shaknovich specializes in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, and is a widely-respected expert in coronary interventions, such as angiography, balloon angioplasty and coronary stenting. He treats patients with a wide range of cardiovascular problems, including angina (chest pain), hypertension (high blood pressure), valvular heart disease, heart failure and arrhythmias. Dr. Shaknovich is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and holds several patents in Interventional Cardiology.
