About Me

Dr. Futterman completed medical school at Ross University, followed by an obstetrics and gynecology residency at New York Medical College. He then completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Futterman recently joined the Maternal-Fetal Medicine team at Maimonides as Director of Complex Obstetrical Surgery and Associate Program Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship. His research focuses on Placenta Accreta Spectrum and the application of artificial intelligence in clinical obstetrics, among other areas of interest. Dr. Futterman has received multiple teaching awards and serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed obstetrics and gynecology journals.
