About Me

I’m trained in both internal medicine and pediatrics, so I care for children, teens, and adults across the lifespan. I specialize in chronic disease management—such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and heart disease—along with preventive care and whole-person health. My philosophy is patient-centered: I listen closely, partner with you in decision-making, and focus not just on treating illness, but on improving your overall well-being. I’m passionate about prevention, education, and population health, helping individuals and families stay healthy for the long term. I chose a career in healthcare because I believe everyone—regardless of background or circumstance—deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life. I was drawn to combined internal medicine and pediatrics so I could care for people of all ages, build lifelong relationships, and support the health of entire families and communities. Patients should choose me and Maimonides Health because we combine compassionate, patient-centered care with the strength of a leading community-based health system. I focus on listening, prevention, and expert chronic disease management, while Maimonides offers comprehensive services. My research focuses on advancing population health through implementation science, quality improvement, and public health innovation. I examine structural drivers of inequity— including clinical algorithms, social determinants of health, and access to primary and chronic disease care— to design system-level interventions that improve outcomes and inform equitable, evidence-based practice.
